Deo (familiarly called Deoji), a god of the BAGRAWAT tribe. There is a temple to the god at Gopalpur. A legend connects the god with Rana Sanga. See SANGRAM SINGH I AND THE GOD DEO.
Deogarh (Deogadh, Devgarh) (Sangawat, Choondawat sub-clan), a town close to the Mewar/Marwar border about 38 km. northeast of Udaipur; an estate of the SANGAWAT branch of the CHOONDAWAT clan, descendants of Choonda's son, Kandhal who had four sons. His first son was Siha, and his second was Sanga. Sanga's progeny came to be known as Sangawats, first class nobles of the State (of the 1st 16 Umraos) whose jagir was Deogarh.

Deolia, a town in Mewar, which once had the distinction of having its chief resident, Prince BAGH SINGH made temporary ruler of Mewar at the second sack of Chittor (1534/35).

Devair (Dewair) (also spelled Daiwar), a town near KUMBHALGARH where, during a skirmish, Maharana PRATAP SINGH I (1572-1597) killed Emperor Akbar's uncle, Bairam Khan.
