Maharana Mewar Foundation Awards, an annual scheme, funded by the MAHARANA MEWAR CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, inaugurated in 1980 by BHAGWAT SINGH MEWAR, the presentation ceremony being held each year in April at the City Palace, Udaipur. From a modest beginning of awards only for Udaipur's college and school students, the scope and spectrum of awards have been steadily widening from year to year, as have the numbers of awards. Today the scheme envisages recognition of service of a permanent value already rendered to society by eminent persons through their chosen field of activity. It also encompasses college and school children and child artists, who have, by their outstanding achievements, already displayed their potential for achieving success and rendering services to society. It is the Foundation's constant endeavour to widen the scope of activities for these awards. The present Chairman of the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, ARVIND SINGH MEWAR, son of Bhagwat Singh, has commented: "One cannot disagree with the statement made by Sir Conrad Corfield at his meeting with Maharana Fateh Singh during his visit to Udaipur (that) '... there was clearly something to be said for preserving such qualities for the future well being of India.'"

The awards are, as follow.
